ABOUT ME

I began my love of capturing stories on film back in high school as the yearbook photographer at Rossville High School. Following graduation I parlayed that into a gig as a sports writer for the Chattanooga News-Free Press.

After twenty years serving my country in the United States Air Force, I retired and moved back to Chattanooga. I found that after working several jobs, including as a Business Learning Partner for Unum, manager of the Chattanooga Police Department's Information Center and Director of Operations of a 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center, I was ready to return to my first love - telling others' stories through photography and capturing memories that would last a lifetime.

While working as a photographer, sports writer, general news reporter and columnist for The Chattanoogan.com, I conceived the idea of my own photography business. I named it 4:13 Photography after my life verse from scripture, Philippians 4:13 (I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.). It is through my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, that I have been given any talent that I might have.

As I share my love of photography with others, it is an even bigger desire to share His love.

4:13 Photography is a Christ-centered business with the goal of working with the client to perfectly capture those moments and memories that are important to you.
